Delfrance was born in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. He left Minas Gerais at the age of 18 for the University of Rio de Janeiro. He knew very soon that his desire and life’s work would be in fashion and design. For him, Europe was the center of the fashion industry. Having made his decision, he got onto a train to Italy.

 

SCHOOL

He enrolled at the most famous fashion school in Milan, the Marangoni Institute. He began his career in London at the Vivienne Westwood fashion house and was involved in the Spring-Summer collection 2003, as an assistant for the Paris show. 

 

COLLECTION

Upon his return to Milan, he decided to perfect his skills and went on to study for three years at the Carlos Secoli Institute. In 2006, he graduated with the highest marks and went on to produce his first collection, Men's Spring/Summer 2006, which he launched in Milan. The success of this collection attracted the interest of several investors who offered to finance his brand, DF Design.

 

WOMAN COLLECTION

 To put himself in the best position for success, he moved to Paris in June 2007 and worked with the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne to perfect his technique in French design. The first collection "Transformation" Autumn-Winter 2009 was received very well.

He has to date enjoyed successes in his career and continues to thrive in the fashion industry.
